Security Officer Training
Security Officer Training
We facilitate Security Officer training in partnership with a training provider. This training covers four grades, namely Grade E, C, D and B. The training runs once in a quarter and the beneficiaries are issued with training certificates of completion at the end of the training including registering with PSIRA as the regulator of the Security industry.

The purpose of this programme is to equip young people as Security Officers and to link qualified Security Officers to meaningful job opportunities. The grades descriptions covered are as follows;

Grade E: This is an entry level grade. You will focus on security patrolling with a grade E. Grade D: This is also an entry level grade. You will perform patrolling and access control. Grade C: A grade C is used for security roles that require some delegation. Grade B: Grade A is used for Security Supervision.
Beauty Therapy Training
Beauty Therapy Training
Bokamoso Youth Centre has trained 15 young women who are previously disadvantaged in a 3 months Cosmetology training. These young ladies were training in the following courses; Beauty and Fashion Make-Up, Eyelash Extensions, Nail Technology and Manicure & Pedicure. The purpose of the Cosmetology training is designed to train the student in the practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and professional attitudes necessary to obtain licensure and for competency in entry-level positions in the Cosmetology profession and importantly to encourage entrepreneurship to start their own businesses.
End-User Computing Training
End-User Computing Training
The qualification addresses the need in the workplace for nationally recognised qualifications, based on unit standards, which will allow learners with workplace experience in End User Computing to obtain recognition for prior learning.

It introduces theoretical concepts of End User Computing and requires the application thereof, to develop a range of skills that will enable learners to be better- informed workers in their chosen industry. It provides a balanced learning experience that lays the foundation for access to further education, lifelong learning and to productive employment.
Contact Centre Training
Contact Centre Training
This training programme was facilitated every quarter following the End-User Computing Training that serves as a pre-requisite. The purpose of the short training course is to enable the young people undertaking the training to facilitate professional online customer service and sales skills.

This is further complemented by additional training on social entrepreneurship, life skills and work readiness skills. 75 Young people were training in Contact Centre Training.
Office Admin Training
Office Admin Training
The office admin training was facilitated every quarter following the End-User Computing Training. Effective and efficient business administration is essential to a healthy-functioning organisation and this course in Business Administration teaches one some essential administrative duties involved in business administration and which skills are necessary to deliver a high-quality service.

Students learned all about business operations, which processes one may be involved in as a business administrator and customer service basics. 79 young people were successfully training in Office Admin.
Fibre Optic Training
Fibre Optic Training
15 Young men were trained and it was a 15 days training in partnership with a training provider. The program prepared the student to be able to effectively and efficiently install, terminate, and test multimode fibre optic networks to existing standards.

This course is designed for installation and maintenance staff working on a range of fibre optic networks including enterprise and outside plant networks for datacoms and telecoms applications. It provides a broad knowledge of the components and equipment used and highlights good working practices in order to inspire a professional approach to the job role.

With the Bokamoso Driver’s Licence project, young people can become skilled drivers for various purposes, from driving taxis to becoming Uber and Bolt drivers, or even delivering food on scooters.

At Bokamoso, we understand the challenges faced by young people in finding stable employment. That's why Bokamoso’s Driver’s Licence project goes beyond just teaching driving skills. It provides comprehensive driving skills training mentorship and support to help young people navigate the competitive job market and build successful careers. Through the training, young people gain the necessary confidence and expertise to excel in the transportation industry.

Our success stories speak for themselves. Many of our graduates have gone on to become successful entrepreneurs, running their own taxi businesses or earning a steady income as ride-hail drivers.
